Lower Town

The main restaurant thoroughfare in Quebec City's Lower Town district is the peaceful Rue St. Paul, which is lined with affordable dining options. Several notable Italian restaurants and pizzerias can be found here, together with a regular Farmers' Market selling a host of local produce. The Aviatic Club, housed inside the stunning Gare du Palais train station, has long been a dining hot spot in Quebec City and features an outdoor terrace area and food from all over the world, including sushi, steaks and salads.

St. Rock and St. Jean Baptiste

Situated to the west of Quebec City's old city walls, the Grande Allée East is a notable and vibrant strip of restaurants, which really come to life at lunchtime and in the evenings. With many midday dining specials available, restaurants in this part of Quebec City are within easy reach of the Plains of Abraham.
